Credits
How Fundalyze credits work, what spends them, and why nothing is blocked by them today.
Credits are one balance per Fundalyze account that meters the API and MCP server and the AI features on the website. Today credits are counted but not enforced: running out blocks nothing.
How the balance movesLink to this section
- Credits come in with each paid period of your plan (each monthly or yearly invoice; Lifetime plans get a monthly allowance), and from credit packs when packs are on sale.
- Credits go out for each successful API or MCP tool call, each AI summary generated on the website, and each plain-English screener question. A call that fails costs nothing.
Your balance and this month's use appear in Account → Billing once credits matter for your account (when packs are on sale, or when enforcement is on).

Nothing is blocked when a balance runs low or below zero. The daily call quota is the only limit on API use.
When enforcement is turned onLink to this section
When credits are enforced, a call made with a balance at zero or below is refused with 402:
{"detail": "Out of credits. Buy a credit pack from Account -> Billing, or wait for your monthly credits."}Over MCP the same sentence comes back as the tool's error text. Turning enforcement on, and the number of credits a call costs, will be announced in the API changelog before it happens.
