What it is

One MCP server and one REST API over the same eight tools. Connect Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP client and ask in plain words, or call the tools over HTTPS from a script. Answers are compact, ask for just the figures you need, and every one ends with a fundalyze.ai link so you can check the source.

Get a key

The API is included in every paid plan, the free trial too. Sign in, open Account → API & MCP, and create a key. Creating your first key means accepting the API Terms. The key is shown once, so copy it then.

Replace fdz_live_YOUR_KEY with your key. Claude Desktop and ChatGPT connectors are coming with OAuth sign-in.

Tool	What it returns
`search_companies`	Find US-listed companies by name or ticker.
`get_company`	A company's profile and key figures from its SEC filings.
`get_financials`	Income statement, balance sheet or cash flow, annual or quarterly, up to 20 years.
`list_filings`	A company's SEC filings, each with its link on SEC.gov.
`get_insider_trades`	Form 4 buys and sells by a company’s officers and directors.
`get_congress_trades`	Trades in the stock disclosed by members of Congress.
`get_headlines`	Recent press headlines about a company, via the GDELT Project.
`get_economy`	U.S. economic indicators from FRED: the latest of each, or one series over time.
